Well, MTVU finally hit Rhode Island this week (Cox Cable Channel 192) and needless to say if i'm not on the net, i've been watching it non-stop. One of their Summer Freshman 5 bands is this little indie pop act from Wales called Los Campesinos!, who i've been meaning to check out for quite some time. And boy, are they fantastic. They remind me a bit of Tokyo Police Club and Agent Sparks, but infinitely better than either of those great bands. This is the video for "Death to Los Campesinos!" from their debut full length Hold On Now Youngster... (which is also the title of their debut EP which also features this song). These guys are likely my favorite new band of the year.
