- Alternative dance musician M.I.A.'s single "Paper Planes" has pushed into the top 20, jumping from #36 to #16. The song is looking to become the "1234" of 2008 (a top 10 hit by an underground musician that hits the Top 10 due its appearence in a commercial or a movie trailer, ala Feist's top 10 spot last year with "1234" due to its appearence in an iPod ad).
- After one week in the top 40, Flobots' "Handlebars" falls from #37 to #41.
- Foo Fighters' "Let It Die" spends its third week atop the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.
